Netco Sports launches Fotofan

The same day the club signed the Edison Cavani to the most lucrative French League transfer in history, ($84 million signed on July 13th), the capitals club launched PSG FOTOFAN, a photo modification mobile community solution for iPhones, created by Netco Sports


PSG Fotofan is the first photo modification mobile solution made specifically for a sports team. The app allows users to share their passion for PSG by taking a picture of themselves and animating it with a variety of available PSG merchandise, slogans, and team logos.

The licence, recently developed by Netco Sports, launched exclusively by PSG, is a creative new way to engage directly and interact with the clubs fans via mobile platforms. Users can snap or choose an existing photo from their library, resize, crop, and add a series of filters before customizing their photo with a variety of PSG branded elements (merchandise, slogans, logos, or even the Ligue 1 Championship trophy). Fans can then save and share their photo via Facebook, Twitter, or by email.

Within a matter of days PSG FOTOFAN has become one of the most downloaded apps in France. Three days after its release on the App Store, PSG FOTOFAN was the most downloaded free sports app in France and the 33rd most downloaded app across all categories.
